1895 Walking Skirt

Antique pattern drafting instructions,  plaid cotton flannel

This skirt pattern was drafted by me, following the instructions in Charles Hecklinger's The "Keystone" Jacket and Dress Cutter, accessed via Internet Archive Digital Library. (https://archive.org/details/keystonejacketdr00heck/mode/2up)

The fabric is 100% cotton flannel, and I sewed it by hand, with a skirt hook and bar closure at the back. This was my first foray into the world of historical costuming.
